Yoel Shalvi, CPA and founding partner

Yoel Shalvi, CPA, is an expert in valuation, financial inspection and accompaniment of public companies. He is a former employee of the Israel Tax Authority and has extensive experience in dealings with tax authorities. He is an expert in handling affairs related to organizations and independent bodies as well as providing solutions for assorted taxation issues. In the past, Shalvi served as a lecturer in the department of accounting at the Hebrew University. He is a member and founder of non-profit organizations in Jerusalem, primarily in the field of education.

Dr. Raanan Kop, CAP (law) and founding partner

Raanan Kop CPA specializes in financial accompaniment including representation before banks on behalf of companies and independent businesses, internal audits, corporate taxation, real estate taxation, company liquidation, procedure freezing, and administration of companies in financial difficulties.

Dr. Kop is a member of the Jerusalem District Bureau of CPAs, the national ethics committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, Chair of the Jerusalem Fighters’ Society committee, and founder and member of the Sela management committee.

Oved Ben David, CPA, founding partner and managing partner

Oved Ben David, CPA, founded the firm of Ben David and Associates in 1994. He has vast experience in providing consultancy and accounting services, and is an expert in internal and external audits at government ministries, audits for local government, audits and tax consultancy for companies and independent businesses, company liquidations, and recovery plans for large bodies.

Oved Ben David delivers lectures in the field of financial accountancy at a number of institutions of higher learning. In the past he served as head of the accounting program at Machon Lev School of Technology as well as a member of the Committee for Standardizing Government Accountancy.

Served as Chairman of the Board of ASHRA – Israel Foreign Trade Risk Insurance Corporation Ltd.

Served as Chair of the Finance Committee of Amidar – National Housing Company of Israel Ltd.

Gilboa Vaisfish, CPA, partner

Gilboa Vausfish, CPA, is a partner in the firm and a manager in the Associations and Non-profit Organizations Department.

He is an expert in servicing third-sector clients and in preparing and accompanying recovery plans for bodies in financial difficulties. He is responsible for the provision of accounting-administrative-taxation consultancy for public institutions.

Vaisfish is a member of the Committee for Non-profit Organizations, Associations and Voluntary Sector Affairs of the Israel Association of Accountants. Serves as an internal auditor and member of the Management Committee for a number of business bodies and non-profit organizations.

Reut Shilo, CPA, partner

Reut Shilo, CPA, is a partner in the firm and a manager in the Municipal Affairs Department.  Shilo joined Ben David Shalvi Kop in 2005 and moved up through various positions until being appointed as partner in 2013.

In her various capacities at the firm, Shilo has accumulated diverse, in-depth experience in internal and investigative auditing, auditing of accounting at government ministries, auditing financial statements of government ministries, and external and internal auditing of local government.  Additionally, she serves as a reader for the Ministry of the Interior of the financial statements of local government authorities.
